Last year was very busy and chaotic because it was my freshman year. However, there was always someone willing to answer my questions and help me out. I am enjoying myself thoroughly now. Although I have a lot more on my schedule and taking harder classes, I have learned to balance everything.
Advice to a prospective student looking at CALS
Take advantage of all the resources. If you are interested in a class or a program speak to the professor or advisor involved. They know the most about their areas and are more than happy to talk to you about it.

Hands-on Experience
Over this summer, I took a course called Ecology of Animal Behavior at Shoals Marine Lab. I had the best time ever. I met so many great people and experienced things that I would never find anywhere else.
