ELIGIBILITY: Faculty with at least 20 years of teaching at Cornell, and a total career of
at least 25; nearing the end of an illustrious teaching career at Cornell.
SPECIFICS: This award was established in 1980 and is made yearly to honor a meritorious and senior faculty member of the College who has, throughout a long and continuous career in the College, provided outstanding teaching and advising for students. The award is made on the basis of:
A plaque in recognition of this career award is located on the mezzanine in Roberts Hall. A monetary award in honor of the awardee is made to the department of the recipient to be used in ways that would enhance, strengthen or improve instructional capabilities of the department's teaching faculty.
