Everyone was very accommodating and answered any questions I had. Attending the orientation activities was the most beneficial thing I could have done because I met so many people and everyone was there to help.
Advice to a prospective student looking at CALS
There are so many resources that are available to you. Don’t be afraid to ask as many questions as you need. Everyone is willing to help and the more you know in the beginning the easier a transition you will have.
Activities
Food Science Club, Transfer Buddy. Get involved with as much as possible, there are so many cool things out there. There is something for every interest.
Hands-on Experience
Transfer Buddies, it feels good to help new students before they come to school. It seems to help put a lot of worries at rest. I know from my experience I wish I had that available on my way in.
