Describe your experience at CALS

It was very hard to adjust to an extremely rigorous schedule, but once I found my stride, it has been an extremely rewarding experience. Once I began to meet students and professors, things really turned around and now I can say I feel like a Cornell student.

Advice to a prospective student looking at CALS

Meet professors and start doing research. That is the best part about Cornell, the experience with professors.

Activities

I did some intramural sports, I am in some clubs in my department (American Association for Petroleum Geologists), and I am also involved with Engineers for a Sustainable World.

Hands-on Experience

I am currently working with a professor. During the school year I work on data analysis of his field work from the prior season. During the summer we go out into the field. I went to Colorado and British Columbia with him this past year.
