Thinking about applying?
We're pleased that you have decided to explore the undergraduate opportunities in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at Cornell University. We enroll approximately 635 freshmen and 200 new transfer students each fall and 50 transfers each spring. If you decide to apply to CALS, you will be asked to select one major and write about your interests in our college.
A significant factor taken into consideration by our college's selection committee is how well a student's academic interests match our college offerings, we encourage you to investigate our majors for undergraduates and departments. Thoroughly researching our program offerings and application process will enable you to submit a well-written and informed Cornell application.
Applying for admission is only the first step, it will also be important for you to learn how you can invest in your future and finance your Cornell education.
