Tuition
Higher education is an important investment in your future. There are many important factors to consider, such as the quality of the education you are receiving, resources that are available to you, connection with the local community, strength of the faculty and cost of attendance.
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is one of three undergraduate colleges at Cornell that are affiliated with the State University of New York (SUNY). As a New York State "state-assisted college" we have a unique responsibility to educate and conduct research and public service programs that will benefit the people of the state. In return, the state contributes a portion of our operating expenses which provides funds for student support, faculty and improved classrooms and laboratories. It also helps keep our tuition low, making your Cornell degree more affordable.

Resources
There are a variety of resources available as you evaluate your investment in a Cornell University education. A great place to start is with the Undergraduate Admissions Office, where you will find a list of helpful links. The Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment offers information that will provide you with a basic understanding of the financial aid process as well as documentation need and important dates.
Cornell also has a unique opportunity for a select group of students who have demonstrated financial need, academic excellence, service to their community and responsibilities that extend outside of the classroom. The Cornell Commitment programs offer financial support to encourage students to continue their involvement in activities that will enrich their experiences at Cornell.
