I am a transfer student and I took a college math class at my previous institution. Have I completed the quantitative literacy requirement?
If you received a C or higher in an approved statistics course or calculus course, then you have completed the college quantitative literacy requirement. No further math is required for the college quantitative literacy requirement. However, your major may require additional math course work. Speak with your faculty advisor.
What are the approved math courses that will complete the quantitative literacy requirement?
All 3 - 4 credit math or statistics courses (except MATH 100 and all MATH First-Year Writing Seminars)are approved to complete the quantitative literacy requirement in CALS.
