JOB OPPORTUNITY: GIC is a small, specialized company offering consulting, financial, and carbon services to public and private sector clients in the agro sector. We have partner offices in Russia, China and Brazil, providing technical and financial services to the agro sector worldwide.
POSITION: Director, Business Development
RESPONSIBILITIES: Marketing for new business opportunities.
PACKAGE: Base salary plus commissions

Job Qualifications
This position requires: 1/ preparation of a marketing plan and strategy; 2/ marketing skills including ability to prepare and make presentations; initiate systematic outreach efforts with companies, government contractors, and government agencies at the state, federal, and international levels; 3/ proposal writing; 4/ public speaking skills; 5/ computer skills including powerpoint; 6/ understanding of the agro sector (optional but desirable) and 7/ foreign languages (optional but desirable)
