Job Description
DeKalb Feeds is a regional feed manufacture with a general office and production site in Rock Falls, Illinois and an additional production site in Kalona, Iowa. We are looking for a M.S. or PhD. Swine Nutritionist.
Primary Job Responsibilities will be to:
1. Oversee swine nutrition programs. 2. Assist field staff in servicing existing accounts and obtaining new business. 3. Develop products to meet the production & economic goals of customers/prospects. 4. Introduce ideas, concepts, and products that make our customers more efficient. 5. Bring knowledge and ideas to DeKalb Feeds and our field staff. 6. Supervise sow center activity between sow center, finisher, and field staff.
The successful candidate must have excellent communications and computer skills. Travel is limited with the main focus in Illinois and Iowa.
