This position will work out of employees home office, located in the Midwest or Southeast United States and will focus on securing new business for GalliPro®, GalliPro® Tect, and BioPlus® 2B from the poultry industry in North America. GalliPro® and GalliPro® Tect are proven proprietary probiotics for the poultry broiler industry and BioPlus® 2B is a proven proprietary probiotic for use in swine and turkey feeds. The Poultry Account Manager will be responsible for a number of key profitable accounts. Negotiates major contracts involving in-depth product, industry and competitive knowledge. In cooperation with the Leadership Team, develop and implement the Global AH&N Business Unit strategies as it relates to poultry products. Maintains in-depth high level contacts with key customers and influencers, keeping them informed of price trends, new products and applications. Responsible for developing a margin improvement strategy at each of the defined key accounts in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Investigates customer complaints and solves routine industry problems on site. This includes, but is not limited to, new product applications, marketing efforts, new facilities, price trends, and key industry personnel. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will be kept informed of any significant developments immediately. Meets or exceeds sales budget targets on a year-to-year basis. Provides timely reports and information as required. Provides excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Performs all other duties as assigned. Reports to work on time and works overtime as required and if required to travel for business: maintains a valid driver's license and good personal credit, making the Account Manager eligible for a credit card.

Job Qualifications
Travel is required 50 % of time for this position, annually. Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS) of Science in Agriculture and/or a background as Veterinarian/DMV with a proven track record of sales and marketing achievement in a B2B environment. Minimum five to seven years experience in the poultry feed industry and/or poultry feed additive industry. Must have the ability to read, write and speak English are required. Additional years of relevant education or experience may be substituted for each other, as determined by Human Resources.
