Our expertise in conducting and managing field, greenhouse, and laboratory studies on crops and professional pest management targets has established us as Europe’s ‘contractor of choice’.We now seek to quickly attain a similar market position in North America.Our primary focus is on the development of safety, registration, and efficacy data on new chemicals, crop characteristics, and seed traits, including biological and organic products.

As Eurofins | Agroscience Service continues to grow, we seek enthusiastic individuals in the Research Triangle Park and Triad areas of North Carolina to join our team of research professionals.

We are seeking Field Development Specialists with the following Key Responsibilities:

·         Implement field trials in assigned regions, conduct field studies from start to completion in support of projects across the Southeast, primarily in North Carolina

·         Work closely with colleagues and sub-contractors across the US to ensure technical consistency on a range of GLP residue, chemical and seed trait efficacy, crop agronomic evaluations, and product safety testing

·         Obtain required licenses to perform research studies in assigned regions

·         Regularly update management and clients on projects

·         Work with management to prioritize and effectively manage workload to meet project deadlines for trial completion and reporting

Job Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

·         B.S or M.S. degree in Plant Pathology, Entomology, Plant Breeding, Weed Science or other agricultural or horticultural disciplines

·         At least 3 years of research/product testing experience within the Ag Chem, Seed, or Professional Pest Management sectors or similar research/technical experience in a university setting

·         A good understanding of the principles of GLP with experience in field development strongly preferred

·         Demonstrated experience and ability in field plot work with experience in efficacy and residue studies preferred 

·         Ability to travel 25-50% of the time, as needed

·         Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills

·         A high level of initiative and motivation, and an enthusiastic team player
