Tutoring Services
Instructors are your best resource for help.
Many courses have tutors available through the instructor.
You must first seek help from the professor and/or TA of the course.
Below are additional resources.
- The Biology Student Advisors offer free, walk-in tutoring for many classes 5 days a week in 216 Stimson Hall and is open to all students (not just Biology majors) in all 7 undergraduate colleges. Tutoring is offered in biology, chemistry, math and physics. More information is can be found at http://www.bio.cornell.edu/advising/sa.
- The Learning Strategies Center in 420 CCC (on the Ag Quad near Roberts Hall) is the central academic support unit for undergraduates at Cornell University, and provides assistance in improving general study skills through semester long courses, workshops, individual consultations, and web site resources. Visit http://www.clt.cornell.edu/campus/learn/tutor/tutordefault.htm or call 607/255-6310. The center is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- The CALS Tutoring Program is available to CALS students only, and offers one-on-one tutoring with an assigned tutor for the following courses:
