Outstanding Alumni Awards
Each year the ALSAA recognizes several alumni and faculty or staff by awarding Outstanding Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni, and Faculty or Staff Awards. Fellow alumni and faculty or staff submit nominations to the Office of Alumni Affairs by April 1. The Awards Committee reviews nomination applications and selects winners who are recognized at the annual Outstanding Alumni Awards Banquet hosted by the association in the fall which generally is held on Friday night of Homecoming weekend in Ithaca.
Book Awards
The ALSAA presents Book Awards to Junior-Year students who have shown the greatest interest, academic accomplishment and promise in the areas of “agricultural/life sciences.” Leadership teams choose a school in their area to present the award; the school is given criteria and selects the winner who is awarded a book and book plate from the ALSAA.
